Process Engineer 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity


Join our manufacturing team and play a key role in shaping the future of varistor production. In this position, you will drive process improvements, introduce innovative technologies, and lead projects that strengthen quality, efficiency, and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from production, quality, engineering, and maintenance while gaining deep insights into advanced manufacturing processes. How you'll make an impact

  • Lead and execute projects within varistor manufacturing

  • Analyze, optimize, and further develop production processes

  • Introduce new technologies, materials, and manufacturing methods

  • Validate and stabilize processes while balancing quality and cost targets

  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment

  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams

  • Create and maintain process documentation and technical reports

Your background

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing environments

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

  • High level of initiative and ownership

  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
