Digital Manufacturing Specialist

General Information:

A Digital Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for managing DTB's digital transformation in Assembly, Test and Shipping.

The person in this role combines business intelligence, technical know-how, and familiarity with the business and its vision to perform essential duties.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing a digital transformation strategy for the production lines, test areas and shipping.
  • Performing high-level data analysis and providing expert advice to business leaders based on the results.
  • Collaborating with leaders across departments on a business-wide scale.
  • Reimagining a business’s products or services for an increasingly digital era.
  • Fully implementing digital solutions for production that will allow for employees to access and track progress in their areas from a digital platform.
  • Help implement new digital technology to track the manufacturing process.
  • Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering department to create and develop policies and procedures from a digital impact.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science is required.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
