Operations Manager

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc.
  • Input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources.
  • Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions A Manager (M3) manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Responsibilities typically include: Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less).
  • Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
  • Drive excellence within unit for HSE (Health Safety Environment) performance.
  • Drive execution of operations functions of production & testing, facility maintenance, planning, procurement & warehouse management.
  • Implement best practices to drive continuous improvement in quality and enhance productivity.
  • Inventory Management: optimize inventory levels and managing material processes from forecasting to material consumption.
  • Collaborate with the management team to align operations with overall company strategic goals ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team in operations.
  • Identify areas for enhancement, formulate compelling cases for change, and oversee implementation of modifications to boost speed, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects including CAPEX procurement & commissioning to drive business growth, quality & continuous improvement.
  • Optimize resource allocation for maximum operational efficiency.
  • Leading the transfer of products and implementation of new upcoming product launches
  • Guide and support cross functional teams to ensure individual and collective success.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical/industrial engineering or related field. Master's degree would be preferred.
  • Overall > 12 years of experience with minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations Management in a global manufacturing company.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient leadership skills and significant experience in change / transformation management
  • In-depth knowledge of process optimization and implementing sustainable improvements using lean six sigma techniques
  • Functional knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) is preferred.

  • Analytical and structured mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions .

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required .
