Maintenance release of REB500 version 8.2 (8.2.0.6)

The following has been corrected/improved in the new revision:

Protection-related

– While monitoring the event list periodically via the front port of the central unit, the busbar protection could rarely be blocked momentarily. This has been resolved.

– Rarely a spontaneous block occurred which could only be solved by restarting both Central Unit and Bay Units. This has been resolved.

System-related

– Fixed an issue where the local display did not update anymore. Please note that the protection remained active while the display was blocked.

Recommendation to update

We recommend all users update to this release.

IED Connect support

The existing HMI500 and PCM600 IED connectivity package for REB500 version 8.2 can continue to be used.

Ordering and delivery

All new orders on the REB500 version 8.2 products will be delivered with this latest version. Existing orders will be updated to version 8.2.0.6.
