The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.
Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. How you’ll make an impact
1. You will support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and programs also assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and hazard identification activities.
2. You will support HSE data collection, analysis, and reporting (e.g., incidents, near-misses, observations) and assist in organizing and coordinating HSE training sessions and awareness campaigns.
3. You will help maintain HSE documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards and local regulations also support Safety Observation Tours (SOT) and other safety engagement initiatives.
4. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a strong safety culture and perform other HSE-related administrative or project support tasks as assigned.
5. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. You can currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
2. Basic knowledge of HSE concepts (e.g., hazard identification, risk assessment, safety regulations).
3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
4. Detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility.
5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
