Hitachi Energy Conference Presentation Schedule

In addition to connecting with our team in the booth, don’t miss Hitachi Energy’s presentations, panels, and poster sessions to hear from our customers, partners, and experts.

Enhancing grid resilience with HVDC and FACTS

This panel will review the positive impacts of HVDC and FACTS have on system resilience. Potential vulnerabilities that HVDC and FACTS systems inherit from the bulk power system through the interconnected nature ac systems as well as through SCADA and other communication systems will be reviewed with an emphasis on how communications for FACTS systems and HVDC protection and control differ from those for conventional ac systems.
