The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency also manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize resources for cost-effectiveness.

2. You will ensure the continuous availability and optimal functioning of production equipment through maintenance plans and root cause analysis and maintain accurate maintenance records, generate reports, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

3. You will drive continuous improvement by implementing process enhancements to boost efficiency and equipment reliability.

4. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a safe and compliant work environment and manage resources effectively, including tools, equipment, and spare parts, to support maintenance activities.

5. You will lead and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

3. Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, equipment reliability, and HSE standards.

4. Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Adept at troubleshooting complex equipment issues and implementing effective solutions.

6. Ability to manage multiple priorities, resources, and maintain detailed documentation efficiently.
