Karthik Krishnamurthi
Head of Exports and Cluster Country Sales and Marketing -Hitachi Energy India Limited
Karthik Krishnamurthi is the Growth and Strategy Officer at Hitachi India. He is also Head of Exports, Sales, and Marketing for Cluster countries in Hitachi Energy India. Prior to this, he led Sales and Marketing for Hitachi Energy India Limited. He is also a member of the Country Management Committee at Hitachi Energy India Limited.
Karthik has been instrumental in leading Hitachi Energy through the carve-out, making it one of the leading energy companies in the country. He also played an important role in winning major customer accounts across energy, utilities, industry, transportation, Data center, infrastructure, and other sectors.
Prior to this, he led country sales and marketing, and exports at ABB. During his one and a half decade of stint in ABB, he has held several leadership roles in ABB India like Business Development Head, Sales and Marketing Head of Chennai Region and the Head of Country Exports.
Before he joined ABB in 2005, Karthik worked for 15 years at Crompton Greaves Ltd and is a veteran in the industry.
Karthik graduated in Electrical and Electronics engineering from the Directorate of Technical Education, Madras and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Finance from Sikkim Manipal University.
