Senior Finance Specialist - GA

The opportunity:

The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial reporting processes, general ledger accounting, lease accounting, and the record-to-report (R2R) cycle. How you’ll make an impact:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Support day-to-day general ledger (GL) accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.

  • Participate in lease accounting processes, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS 116).

  • Contribute to the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) process, including closing activities and reporting deliverables.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support internal and external audits.

  • Maintain proper documentation and adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements.

  • Address and resolve audit queries, including those related to the Companies (Auditor’s Report) Order (CARO), to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain audit readiness.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Chartered Accountant recently cleared/fresher with strong knowledge and understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), financial reporting, and general accounting principles.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Prior working experience in SAP is added advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to work with large sets of data and effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong teamwork & communication.
