AirRIP®
The AirRIP™ bushing from Hitachi Energy is a dry-type resin-impregnated paper (RIP) bushing designed for outdoor transformer applications from 24 to 550 kV. Engineered with a minimal-component design—insulating body, main flange, insulator shell, and conductor—it offers high reliability, fire resistance, and explosion-proof performance.
AirRIP™ bushings are partial discharge-free up to double service voltage, maintenance-free, and support high-temperature operation (Class E, 120 °C). With flexible configurations, low dielectric losses, and transportability in any position, they ensure safe, efficient, and adaptable installation.
