The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Sales Manager and be an expert. This role allows you to gain in-depth knowledge of the specific market and provide our clients with the best-in-class product. You'll play a crucial role in making a significant impact on our business growth and customer satisfaction and contribute to building a team/function. How you’ll make an impact

  • You will establish and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and knowledge of customer needs.

  • You will ensure the development of marketing & sales plans in alignment with local Hitachi Energy strategies and plans.

  • You will define and implement marketing & sales strategies aimed at developing the wind power business and growing the customer base in Taiwan.

  • You will perform sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.

  • You will collaborate with all related local Hitachi Energy Business Units to ensure alignment.

  • You will participate in internal work groups to share know-how, processes, and market information with Hitachi Energy Business Units.

  • Work functionally through the various Hitachi Energy sales, marketing, services and support departments to define and advance the overall team goals.

  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or energy industry (Electrical background is a plus).

  • Strong marketing & sales skills and hands-on experience, proven ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships.

  • Ability to progress projects such as front-end sales & marketing from origination to execution.

  • Industry knowledge in Utilities and Engineering is desirable but not essential.

  • Experience in renewable and power utility market in Taiwan, Transmission & Distribution experience is a plus.

  • Product knowledge in Power receiving and transforming equipment with high voltage and Wind power system.

  • Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, relationship- building, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations, and a willingness to travel as required.

  • Excellent English language skills.
