Job Description:

General Information

You as a High voltage product sales engineer will be a part of Hitachi Energy at Tokyo, Japan.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for high voltage air insulated switchgear product sales of products & services within electrical utility and industry market in Japan, in accordance with strategy, build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.
  • You will Identify and develop sales opportunities, ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • You will prepare sales plans using company tools, including SALESFORCE.com, create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
  • You will ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customer, identify, and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market, ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration, manage administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
  • You will prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Market Manager and ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.

Your Background

  • University’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar field, working as sales / business development / tendering / product management engineer / technical College.
  • Experience interacting with engineers and other professionals, as well as VP's and upper management.
  • A benefit would be experience working with channel partners. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.com.
  • Great network & knowledge in local EPC and Utlility companies.
  • Action oriented, analytical, attention to detail, strong interpersonal & communication skills, teamwork oriented.
