After-sales service supervisor

The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

  • You will be focused on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment including, Identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up. 

  • You will be researching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.  

  • You will be developing on-going relationships with customers to secure future business.  

  • You will resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems and/or train customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.  

  • You will be managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision, coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals and problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. 

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's in mechanical or related engineering.

  • Having suppler audit experience is a plus.   

  • Experience in leading a small team of engineers and good coaching skills.

  • Strong team-work capability and Good self-learning and sharing. 

  • Good English skill in reading and writing, speaking skill preferred. 

  • Good communication skills with customers and suppliers.
