I am Sarah D’Lima based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I am a part of the Talent Acquisition function for Hitachi Energy’s business for Middle East & Africa. For around 15 years, I’ve been working in the field of Human Resources. I am also a hands-on mother of two adorable children and love spending time with them and maintaining a healthy balance between my professional and personal life.
Through my many years of experience for a role in talent function, I can totally see how Hitachi Energy is creating a huge platform for women all around the world in shaping an equal future. We have set clear targets to increase our female diversity from 19% to 25% by 2025. We are actively recruiting and have pushed for more development of women for leadership roles.
Being in HR, the best compliment that I have received is that I can drive the change and make a huge difference to people’s lives. We eliminate all the barriers and have an objective approach while making hiring decisions for the organization.
