Senior Software Engineer – C#/C++ - India Development Centre

The Opportunity

At Hitachi Energy, we don’t just build software—we build the future of energy. As a Senior C#/C++ Developer – Power Systems Applications, you’ll be part of a team that’s transforming how electricity flows through the grid, integrating renewables, and enabling smarter, more resilient infrastructure. Our software powers the largest transmission and distribution networks across the globe, and your work will directly impact how energy is delivered to millions.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering and innovation. You’ll lead development efforts that model, simulate, and optimize complex power systems, collaborating with experts in grid operations, software architecture, and data science. Whether you're refining algorithms for contingency analysis or enhancing user experience for control applications, your contributions will help utilities operate more efficiently and sustainably.

We’re looking for curious minds who enjoy solving real-world challenges, experimenting with new technologies, and working in agile, cross-functional teams. If you’re passionate about building solutions that matter—and want to be part of a company that values your growth and impact—this is your opportunity to energize your career.
