Project Engineer SCADA Networking

The opportunity:

HMI / SCADA Development, Database creation, Gateway server configuration, technical co-ordination, make sure the SCADA system works with customer requirements along with Hitachi standards.

How you’ll make an impact:

• You will focus on continuous improving of HVDCs Overall HMI.

• You will develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Micro SCADA and Zenon SCADA software platforms, design and develop a secured network overall architecture for SCADA/ HMI system for AC Substation and HVDC projects.

• You will technically co-ordinate with sub suppliers and multiple stakeholders in different locations.

• You will create and customize templates, faceplates, and popups in Micro SCADA and Zenon SCADA to meet project-specific HMI requirements and discuss with other departments/ stakeholders to prepare the division of works.

• You will be involved in FAT/ SAT activities along with sub suppliers and technically support at site during commissioning phase of the project.

• You will evaluate and strengthen the security of any connections to the DCS/ SCADA/ HMI network and lead the automation projects and guide/ mentor within the team for the business requirements.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Electronics and Instrumentation (E&I).

• Minimum 13+ years of working experience from the substation automation projects across India and international locations.

• IT infrastructure hands on experience on Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Servers, and workstations with basic networking skills.

• You must have knowledge in Micro SCADA, Zenon (Copa Data), MS Visio along with knowledge MS Office.

• You should have experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholder’s tom finalize the solution.

• SCADA / HMI certifications, Networking certifications, CCNA, CCNP, Cyber Security is preferrable.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
