This internship is a hands‑on opportunity where you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, get exposure to meaningful projects, and see how your work makes a difference from day one.

This opportunity will be for 8 weeks, starting on the 29th June 2026 - 21st August 2026, and will be mainly based at our Norwich Hornsea 3 Onshore HVDC Converter Station - Main Road, Swardeston, NR14 8DU. You will be required to be on site as often as possible.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop a practical understanding of Site Quality Processes, gain hands-on knowledge of how quality assurance /quality Control activities are implemented during execution and completion processes.

  • Observe and participate in the site inspection together with Site Quality and Subject Matter Experts.

  • Understand how quality records and documentation support compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Support Mechanical Completion activities.

  • Help monitor punch list items and completion status.

  • Assist with document reviews, data tracking, and admin support to the Site Quality team.

  • Participate in regular site coordination activities for the quality team.

  • Engage with team members to understand different roles and responsibilities.

Background:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical engineering, or a similar degree.

  • Passion for our industry and engineering

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication.

  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.

  • Good attention to detail, particularly with data and documentation.
