Sales and Project Manager (High Voltage Products)
 

The opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Project Manager to join Hitachi Energy’s Transformers/High Voltage business in Vaasa, Finland. In this role, you will manage customer orders, support the Front‑End Sales (FES) team while managing customer relationships. You will serve as a key link between factories and customers, taking ownership of projects from order to delivery to ensure smooth execution.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, support sales operations, maintain product and sales data, and provide both technical and commercial support to customers throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with a relevant engineering background, a few years of work experience, and a strong ability to understand customer needs. If you enjoy combining project responsibility with sales support and thrive in a collaborative, international environment, this role could be a great fit.

How you'll make an impact

  • Act as sales support for the Front-End Sales (FES) team
  • Manage the order-to-delivery process
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Act as a link between feeder factories, FES, and customers
  • Maintain the product data in SAP
  • Maintain sales opportunity data in Salesforce
  • Claim handling
  • Act as technical support for customers
  • Manage the approval process for product manufacturing documentation
  • Responsible for managing pricing adjustments related to delivery changes
  • Understanding of contract law

Your background 

  • You are a driven and self-motivated person with excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders and create tight long-lasting relationships.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Science in Technology (Electrical, Energy or Industrial Management preferred).
  • Some years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to understand customer needs. Passion for operative challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and SAP.
  • Strong Finnish and English, written and spoken.
