As a Training & Development Leader at Hitachi Energy, you will shape how factory teams build skills, engage with their work, and contribute to operational excellence. This role sits at the heart of transformation—designing and deploying impactful training systems that strengthen workforce capability while aligning with company standards and best practices.

Working closely with factory leadership, operations, HR, and support functions, you will influence how employees learn, develop, and succeed from day one. You will bring adult learning expertise, coaching capability, and a continuous improvement mindset to create practical, engaging, and performance‑driven learning experiences. With strong roots in lean management and change leadership, you will help turn strategy into action and learning into measurable results.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Design, lead, and continuously improve training and development programs.
  • Partner with factory, HUB, operations, and HR leaders to align learning with business needs.
  • Strengthen onboarding programs to accelerate integration and engagement.
  • Track and analyze training KPIs to enhance effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent execution of training plans aligned with operational goals.
  • Maintain and optimize training management systems and learning resources.
  • Apply adult learning principles to empower trainers and engage learners.
  • Drive accountability for training participation and capability development.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience designing, delivering, and managing training programs.
  • Hands‑on experience with lean management systems.
  • Background in a fast‑paced, matrixed manufacturing environment.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and change leadership capabilities.
  • Experience managing training initiatives, resources, and priorities simultaneously.
