Engineering Intern

The opportunity:

Join Hitachi, Ltd. as an Engineering Intern and contribute to innovative projects that shape the future. This role offers hands-on experience in various engineering disciplines, supporting our teams in research, development, and implementation.

How you’ll make an impact:

• You will assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of hardware and/or software solutions, conduct research and gather data to support ongoing engineering projects.

• You will participate in prototyping, debugging, and troubleshooting activities, prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, support the maintenance and improvement of existing systems and processes.

• You will learn and apply engineering principles and methodologies under guidance.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Software, Materials Science, Industrial) or a related technical field.

• Strong academic record. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C++, Python, Java) is a plus for relevant roles.

• Familiarity with CAD software, simulation tools, or relevant lab equipment is advantageous depending on the engineering discipline.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to learn and grow within a global organization.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
