The opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated GCB Tendering Manager to join our dynamic team at Hitachi Energy Ltd.

In your role, you drive customer success and maintenance business growth by delivering tailored service solutions for high‑voltage GCB products. You act as a key customer interface, ensuring that customer needs are addressed through reliable, value-driven, and competitive service offerings.

How you´ll make an impact

  • Drive the growth of the GCB maintenance and service business by developing tailored service solutions that meet customer needs and maximize long-term asset performance
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, proactively identifying maintenance opportunities and promoting value-added service offerings across the installed base
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on commercial quotations, ensuring competitive, accurate, and profitable offers that are converted into successful orders
  • Own and manage the sales pipeline for the assigned markets, maintaining forecast accuracy, driving opportunity progression, and reducing overdue quotations
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, field service, troubleshooting teams, and local business units to deliver high-quality customer solutions and ensure seamless project handovers
  • Support and enable service sales teams, local sales units, and channel partners through product training, commercial guidance, and sharing of best practices
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving commercial and operational issues in a timely and professional manner while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Leverage digital tools such as Salesforce, SAP, SOMA, and PowerShop to optimize sales processes, monitor performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement and business growth initiatives

Your background

  • Technical or business education (apprenticeship, FH/TH, diploma)
  • Experience with GCB products and digital sales platforms is an advantage
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies, account management, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English; German and other languages are a plus
  • Team oriented, structured, and customer focused mindset
