R&D Senior Engineer / Global product support - Filters

The opportunity
Based in Ludvika, Sweden, you will be part of a global organization where expertise, innovation, and collaboration come together to drive the energy transition. You will work closely with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders from around the world in a truly international and inclusive environment.

This role is within Capacitors & Filters with main focus on the system rather than on individual components. Potential gaps in knowledge will be developed in cooperation with technical experts as a part of the job. As a central part of the team, you will connect different functions, coordinate activities, and ensure that projects move forward efficiently and successfully.

How you’ll make an impact  

• Lead GPS projects and/or work packages.
• Support the manufacturing units, customers, quality, etc. with technical topics and experience.
• Guide the team in the engineering process.
• Root cause analysis of internal and customer reported quality issues.
• Support with design and/or evaluation of filter systems.
• Electrical and mechanical simulations.

Your background

• Experience in Electrical Engineering and Project management
  • Circuit theory with passive components.
• University degree, preferable in combined with work-life experience
• It is an advantage if you have understanding & experience of High Voltage Filter applications and system as well as the components that are included in the system.

• Experience in simulation tools like PSCAD or similar
• Experience with CREO or other 3D CAD software
