The opportunity

At Hitachi Energy, we are driving the transition to a sustainable energy future. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ludvika.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of production equipment and facilities. You will work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.


How you’ll make an impact

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency
  • Participate in installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations,environmental standards, and company procedures

Your background

  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing or production environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and schematics
  • Good communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Fluency in Swedish and English both written and spoken
