Controlling Financial Analyst

Job Description

The opportunity:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support our global transfer pricing compliance and documentation efforts. This role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial and operational data to ensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions in alignment with local and international tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial systems and accounting principles, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
 


How you’ll make an impact:

  • Extract, process, and analyze financial data from SAP FI to ensure accurate reporting and insights.

  • Validate and map cost and revenue elements from SAP COPA to relevant characteristics such as product, customer, and region.

  • Design, test, and implement Alteryx workflows and macros to automate financial data processes efficiently.

  • Review and optimize existing financial workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend automation opportunities.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Should have bachelor’s and master’s degree.

  • Should have 1–5 years of experience in Controlling (CO) and/or Financial (FI) processes, preferably with hands-on SAP experience.

  • Functional understanding of Finance and Controlling reports in SAP, especially S/4HANA.

  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and related flows within SAP environments.

  • Familiarity with advanced S/4HANA components such as Core Data Services (CDS) views and ABAP-Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).

  • Experience with Power BI or similar platforms for building financial models and dashboards.

  • Understanding of global transfer pricing principles or international tax frameworks.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data manipulation techniques.

  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.

  • Results-driven approach with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Understanding of automation tools like Alteryx for process optimization.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
