Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact
1. You will be responsible for development of various application oil-immersed distribution transformer order and tender designs in coordination with the Market and Sales Strategy to meet the market needs.
2. You will be responsible for development of transformer designs in coordination with different factories based on the purchase order requirement, ordering specification in different areas of transformer design and manufacturing.
3. You will influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage, through conceptual discussions and participate in internal and external design concept reviews.
4. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Skilled with ProE/Creo 3D CAD modelling and drawing generating.
3. Advantage if experienced in distribution transformer design, familiar with Creo advanced programing and model management, familiar in 2D AutoDesk CAD tool, experience on Microsoft office and tools, experience in Simulation or software development.
4. A team player, open with information and willingly contributes to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required, quick learner with ability to master new areas and should be willing to be travelling.
5. Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world and demonstrate team building and networking skills, would be a preference.
6. Good communication skills in English Language oral and written form.
