The opportunity:

Execute medium-to-high-high-complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will perform medium to high complex Service tasks like installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits, repair independently, identify technical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgrades and retrofit, end of life service etc.).

  • You will ensure customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation, create and maintain a good relationship with customers and understand their needs, identify new sales opportunities and take influence in convincing the client for the complete service portfolio.

  • You will coordinate, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities, prepare standard lists for ease of work, prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative, report work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed and create standards or job durations.

  • You will proactively identify potential equipment failures and proactive corrective actions, troubleshoot complex equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future, proactively identify suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discuss them with management for changes.

  • You will actively ensure that HSE practices are of high standard. Works to eliminate unsafe practices and incidents, consistently apply functional processes considering links to other teams.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / Power Systems or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in transformer service, testing, maintenance, or troubleshooting.

  • Hands-on experience with power and/or distribution transformers. Experience with OLTC systems (MR Reinhausen or equivalent preferred).

  • Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, control schematics, and interlocking diagrams related to transformer auxiliary systems, identify circuits for cooling systems, OLTC control, protection relays, alarms, and interlocks during troubleshooting and commissioning.

  • Strong knowledge of transformer construction, operation, and common failure modes. Ability to analyze DGA results and electrical test data and familiar with IEC / IEEE standards related to transformers.

  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, datasheets, drawings, and standards, to write clear and structured technical reports, service reports, and emails in English.
