Factory Integration Engineer – Product Owner MES 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity 
 

Join us as a Factory Integration Engineer – Product Owner MES and take a key role in driving the digital transformation of our high-power semiconductor wafer fab. In this position, you will combine hands-on product ownership with active leadership in shaping our Smart Factory vision. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) SiView, ensuring stable, efficient, and future ready production environments while integrating promising digital solutions across our factory. 
 

How you’ll make an impact 
 

• Take end to end ownership of the MES SiView including Material Manager, Specification Manager, and QuMap/SPC modules, while defining and prioritizing the product backlog and roadmap in alignment with Operations, Engineering, and IT 
• Lead release validation, UAT, approvals, and transparent communication of new features, system changes, incidents, and release plans 
• Monitor and continuously evaluate our stable 24/7 MES operations and the availability and performance of critical interfaces such as to Equipment Integration, SAP S/4, Data Warehouse, and Quality Systems 
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, Quality, IT, external partners, and shopfloor teams to ensure effective system use  
• Actively participate in production critical incidents analysis and drive root cause investigations 
• Represent the MES domain within the Factory Integration Team and in cross functional project environments 
• Ensure consistent production data and process configurations, collaborating with engineering teams on routings, recipes, and process flows 
• Identify, evaluate, and advance new digitalization and automation initiatives, supporting projects like Autonomous Scheduling, MES modernization, and data analytics platforms 
 

Your background 
 

• Master’s degree in engineering or science (industrial engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, information technology, or a related field) 
• 2+ years of experience in product ownership, requirements engineering, or application management 
• Professional experience with MES systems, ideally SiView or comparable semiconductor MES platforms 
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes 
• Structured, solution oriented working style with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to different audiences 
• Strong coordination skills, ability to handle competing priorities, and a high sense of ownership with a passion for innovation and digitalization 
• Nice to have: knowledge of semiconductor frontend processes, SECS/GEM or similar interface architectures, and experience operating 24/7 production environments 
• Fluent English and German (written and spoken)
