You’ll be at the heart of our mission to power a sustainable energy future—collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing complex project lifecycles, and delivering excellence from start to finish.

Reporting to the Director of the Program Management Office – HUB North America, you’ll manage multiple projects across our North American factory network.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead diverse project teams with clarity, purpose, and motivation
  • Manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk across multiple factory locations
  • Serve as the key contact for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Drive project execution while ensuring safety, quality, and financial targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, sharing lessons learned
  • Support contract negotiations and claims in partnership with Legal and Supply Chain
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and partners
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
  • PMP Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain Hitachi Energy PM Certification within 2 years)
  • Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage complex project scopes
  • Experience with SAP, MS Project, Excel, and other PM tools
  • Knowledge of transformer manufacturing or the North American energy sector is a plus
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
