Tender Engineer (m/f/d)

The opportunity

We're currently looking for aTender Engineer to join our Engineering team of the power transformer factory in Monselice (PD). You will play a crucial role in the preparation of the technical offer for our customers. You will analyze the tender technical requirements, you will act as transformer designer, preparing cost estimations and technical documents to ensure that our offers become orders, meeting Company profitability targets.

How you will make an impact

• Thoroughly review customer requirements and documents to ensure a clear understanding of project scope, attending clarification meetings when necessary.

• Design transformers using Hitachi Energy design platform adhering to Company and industry standards, meeting the specified deadlines.

• Conduct thorough design reviews, implementing best practices.

• Prepare competitive cost estimations that accurately reflect optimized material costs as well as design, manufacturing and testing hours calculations.

• Identify potential risks in bids and quotations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all tender submissions.

• Foster effective communication with customers throughout the entire tendering process, addressing inquiries and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Your background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience in Electrical Engineering.

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and customers from different countries.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
