HUB Supply Quality & Development Manager

Mission Statement:

Drive excellence in quality, delivery, and compliance for the HUB supply base. Ensure global processes are understood and implemented by the HUB SCM network. Provide quality and compliance status updates to HUB Supply Chain Management. Guide and train HUB SQEs for sustainable supply performance. Act as the main SQ interface between the HUB and the BU to ensure implementation of the BU SQ roadmap within the HUB. Take the ultimate accountability and approval authority, and reviews and assures the quality of the team’s operation in accordance with PG, BU, and HUB regulations and procedures.

Your Responsibility:

  • You will set up the SQ structure at the HUB level in line with the BU SCM blueprint and the process framework and you must ensure adequate staffing for the HUB SQ team to support relevant categories regionally. You will have the direct line management responsibility for the HUB SQE team.
  • You will act as the main interface between the BU SQM and the HUB SCM and lead the implementation of the BU SQ initiatives within the HUB. Set the HUB SQ targets and the priorities in line with the BU SQ yearly targets.
  • You must coordinate, monitor and report supply base management activities within the HUB.
  • You will Roll-out/sustain the global supplier qualification process within the organization and ensure the qualification process is fully followed by HUB Category teams through close communication, trainings and guidance.
  • You will be leading the planning and the monitoring of the sustainability audit assessments (including the SSDP CAP closure by the HUB SQEs)
  • You must ensure the development of the specific PPAP process for each HUB Category and the related technical on-site process assessment procedure.
  • You will act as the second escalation level for the critical supplier quality/delivery concerns for the HUB Category suppliers.
  • You will facilitate the consolidation of the supplier performance data (OTD and the supplier incoming quality) and the critical NCRs per each category within the HUB.
  • You will allocate the HUB SQE resources for the critical supplier improvement/development initiatives in alignment with Category Management.
  • You will represent the “voice of customer” to the suppliers during the supplier audits and as well as other remote activities/follow-up (e.g: interface with suppliers’ R&D, operations and quality senior management).
  • You will implement the BU supplier management processes within the HUB and standardize through LECI and procedures.
  • You will lead the SQ skills and the competence enhancement within the HUB (e.g: trainings, standardization, guidelines, etc.)
  • You must ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed (with HRBP support).

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical- or electrical engineering, finance, business administration or similar.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in quality, operation or supply chain management from manufacturing industry.
  • Experience of working with ISO standards, UN 17 goals for sustainable development, Eco Vadis and Conflict Minerals.
  • Comfortable working with tolls like SQDIC, 8D, PPAP etc.
  • Well-developed auditing skills and experience.
  • Good to have Experience from transformer or automotive industry.
  • Good to have Master’s degree in quality management, Supply Chain, business administration or similar.
