General Information:
 

Responsible for performing various testing procedures in a laboratory environment for quality assurance. Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating physical/chemical characteristics. Familiar with the use of standard and industry specific specialized laboratory equipment Analyzes test results and experiments to ensure conformity to physical and/or chemical specifications. Maintains records of analysis and tests An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency:. Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing various testing procedures in a laboratory environment for quality assurance.
  • Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating physical/chemical characteristics.
  • Familiar with the use of standard and industry specific specialized laboratory equipment.
  • Analyzes test results and experiments to ensure conformity to physical and/or chemical specifications.
  • Maintains records of analysis and tests A Specialist Para-Professional (S4) requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
  • Responsibilities may include:  Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.

  • This position is for both 1st and 2nd shift at either Mount Pleasant or Greensburg facilities.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.  

Your Background:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of Electrical or Mechanical Experience or equivalent
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
