Is the future of data centres modular?

Operators are now facing the prospect of building multiple facilities concurrently, potentially across different site locations, instead of taking up to five years to bring a site online, the average development cycle is down to 18-24 months. A modular approach can help to refine and streamline the process at a time when speed and efficiency are top priorities to service the overwhelming demand for new facilities.

  • How does a modularity and a programmatic approach help to solve the design challenge; standardised on components, additional manufacturers
  • What is going to be the winning architecture?
  • Retrofitting modularity is much more challenging, how does this affect initial planning

Hitachi Innovation Workshop: Powering the next generation Data Centers – in months not years - Invitation-only (limited capacity)

AI is changing the race in data centers, and the winners will not be those with the most ambition, but those who can bring next-generation capacity online fastest. Power, infrastructure, and execution have become the new competitive edge.

In this invite-only executive workshop, Hitachi and industry leaders will explore how to unlock capacity in months, not years, accelerating delivery, reducing bottlenecks, and building more resilient, scalable, and future-ready data center infrastructure. Designed for senior decision-makers, the session will focus on the strategic choices, partnerships and innovations that will define who leads in the AI era.
