Vice President Components - North America

We are seeking a Vice President of Components – North America.  This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Components Business for Transformers across North America.  The role will be based in Raleigh, NC or Alamo, TN.

Job Responsibilities:


• Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives.
• Evaluating and financial modeling of potential merger, acquisition, divestment, partnership and joint venture opportunities. Monitoring medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership.
• Analyzing and managing medium and long-term capital expenditure and project approval decisions.
• Establish and implements strategies that have mid to long-term (3-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with Regional and Global organization objectives.
• Acts as the main managerial focal point within the local Factory Operations and site development.
• Leads Factory Operations Team in the region for the components business as well as the Sales and Marketing Operations for effectiveness.

Key Areas:
 

Strategy:
o Implement the North America and Global Product Group (GPG) strategy in the country, ensuring business development and sustainable growth in the domestic/allocated market.
o Achieves established targets through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions.
o Align with internal and external local stakeholders.
 

Performance Targets:
o Lead, own, and secure year-on-year operational targets, including Health, Safety, and Environment(HSE), Quality, and P&L.
 

Sales and Customer Relations:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
 

Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's Degree: Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.  Preferred: Master's Degree: An MBA or a Master's in a relevant field.

Work Experience:

Industry Experience: 10 plus years of experience in product management, sales and marketing, engineering, or a related field within the industry, Experience Leading a factory or in an operations capacity.

Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects with a strategic oversight of a specific product or product group.
