Sales Specialist - Germany Region West (f/m/d)

The opportunity

To strengthen our sales and project management team we are looking for you as Service Sales Specialist (f/m/d) for our transformer and repair service in Germany.

 

In this role you will be part of a cross-national sales team and develop / negotiate quotations for the service and repair of large transformers. In this role you will also act as a technical expert advisor for the sales organizations in direct customer contact. Is this your next challenge? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

How you´ll make an impact

  • You will understand project specific customer requirements and, with the help of the engineering department, prepare a technical and commercial proposal for the service and repair of large transformers in Germany Region West
  • You will support the sales team in Germany in negotiating, clarifying and commenting on technical customer requirements and issues
  • You analyze your assigned markets regarding growth potential and derive and implement a corresponding market development strategy
  • You identify and evaluate technical project risks, discuss technical project requirements with the internal and external interfaces so that these are taken into account in the technical offer
  • You identify increases and decreases in your projects at an early stage, develop necessary corrective actions and implement them together with the technical and commercial departments

 

Your background

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, master craftsman's training or similar
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in technical sales or project management
  • Technical understanding in the field of high-voltage products (knowledge of transformers an advantage)
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • Confident handling of MS Office tools
  • You are an outgoing and communicative personality and have a high degree of self-organization
  • Affinity for sales as well as strong negotiation and presentation skills in dealing with demanding customers
