Team Manager HVDC C&P IT/OT – OT Systems

The opportunity

We are looking for a Team Manager to lead a department based in Ludvika, Sweden, responsible for Operational Technology (OT) systems within HVDC Control & Protection.

This role combines strong people leadership with local ownership in Ludvika and global collaboration. You will be part of the Global HVDC C&P IT/OT Management Team, working closely with colleagues and managers across regions to drive alignment, capability, and operational excellence.

You will lead a team of around 20 professionals, creating conditions for them to succeed, grow, and deliver at their best in a complex and fast-paced project environment.

As a Team Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead, support, and develop your team, ensuring both people and performance thrive.

How you´ll make an impact

- Lead and develop the team with a clear focus on engagement, wellbeing, and growth

- Ensure the department is properly staffed, skilled, and organized to meet business needs

- Create clarity in roles, expectations, and priorities

- Ensure processes and ways of working are followed and continuously improved

- Balance operational delivery with long-term competence development

- Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety

- Collaborate with global managers and stakeholders

- Contribute to the Global HVDC C&P IT/OT Management Team

- Lead department-level improvements and strategic initiatives

Your background

We are looking for a leader who is passionate about developing people and building strong teams.

- Experience in people management or team leadership

- Understanding of OT systems, HMI, SCADA or similar

- Experience working in global environments

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Leads with empathy, clarity, and integrity, and enables others to perform

- Fosters individual growth and builds strong, collaborative teams
