Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact.

We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.
How you’ll make an impact
1. You will ensure projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures, and ensure that an integrated schedule for the project's entire scope of work is provided.
2. You will analyze project requirements with project team, check that all essential work activities have been identified in sufficient detail to serve as a basis for developing realistic project schedules. You will define, jointly with the project team, project work aligned to the cost breakdown structure, develop, and maintain properly linked, required role loaded/integrated, baseline and current schedules that provide time phased baseline, actual and forecast data for project. You will monitor project progress and regularly analyze project critical paths to ensure all critical path activities and project milestones are progressed to the plan, notify Project Managers of any deviations or scheduling issues, and provide input for optimizing resources. When required you will prepare EOT Schedules and Schedule Analysis to support Project Team. You will work together with Line Management Organization to resolve Resource Demand / Staffing Conflicts. You will issue progress reports, schedule updates and productivity data on a regular basis and as requested by customers and stakeholders.
3. You will support the establishment of a baseline plan for cost and cash flow performance measurement. You will work with project team to define the necessary resources for project completion, evaluating the work breakdown structure and standard productivity. Where required – you will create As Sold reference point in Project Control tool suite and generate Original Budget baseline. You will reflect Variation Orders in the revised baseline.
4. You will work closely with engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, client and contractors to identify potential changes in scope and quantify the impact of each change in a timely fashion. You will revise baseline in line with the approved Variation Orders and Extension of Time requests.
5. You will work with project team to identify and assess the priority of project risks (e.g. schedule, cost and scope risks), and propose mitigation plans. You will analyze impact of risk on the overall timeline and resources.
6. You will integrate material resource requirements with project schedule and define procurement activities and order lead times. You will regularly communicate with Supply Chain Management team and update schedules to ensure procurement activities take place in a timely way and lead times are optimized to meet schedule targets.
7. You will participate in project reviews. You will compose reports and update all required project data in Project Controls and reporting systems for Management Information and Project Analysis. You will communicate project progress and control issues to project management team and offer solutions.
8. You will effectively communicate appropriate information to the Project Manager and other stakeholders in a timely manner and achieve desired understanding.
9. You will ensure at the Portfolio level that project planning activities for the project portfolios are in line with Hitachi Energy instructions and guidelines and are adequate to implement contractual agreements with Hitachi Energy customers.
10. You will support Sales & Operations Planning Process where required. You will work together with Sales team to define Planning Scenarios, drive workload data collection process from organization, and chair monthly S&OP Review Meeting.

11.You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent

2.Minimum 10 years of experience in project schedule control on medium to large-size international projects.
3.Strong communication & coordination with different stakeholders /interfaces is required;
4.Teamwork player and willing to take challenges under pressure

5.Skilled in Excel (Pivot Table) & project schedule, Proficient in Primavera P6 & Power BI

6.Proficient in English reading and writing, Mandarin
