In Vietnam, rising energy demand and global uncertainty have made it clear that securing a resilient energy future is no longer optional. In this context, Hitachi Energy hosted Partner’s Day 2026: “Electrification – The Key for Vietnam’s Energy Security,” bringing together 143 participants from diverse sectors and organizations, but all united by a shared goal: strengthening energy security while uplifting sustainable economic growth.
Central to this vision, Chandan Singh, Country Managing Director of Hitachi Energy Vietnam, kicked off the event with a key insight: “It is impossible to achieve net-zero emissions goals without electrifying energy production along with the transportation and industrial networks. This is not just a matter for individual businesses, but a systemic problem for the entire economy

They walked through efficient energy for expanding data centers, accelerating the shift to clean renewables, and electrification that powers future-ready infrastructure. The next session brought a dynamic panel discussion, welcoming leaders from Hitachi Energy, PC1, AIT, A Chau, and VK+ to address the field’s opportunities and hindrances directly.
The panel discussion was highly dynamic and engaging, with speakers addressing key issues related to the power grid, the critical role of electricity in the country’s development, and how the availability of reliable power underpins economic growth. The panelists also highlighted Hitachi’s specialized solutions and products, which can effectively support Vietnam on its energy development and transition journey.
