The opportunity 


Our OS SAS Profolio Manager drives strategic and business-focused growth by connecting market opportunities with our global product portfolio and internal delivery capabilities. 

 

This role is critical in ensuring that our Operating Unit remains aligned with evolving customer needs, emerging technologies, and changing market dynamics across transmission, distribution, renewable energy, data centers, offshore wind, and industrial electrification sectors.  

 

The OS SAS Portfolio Manager will act as the key interface between Market Management, Sales, Global Product Groups, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to ensure our organization is ready to capture future growth opportunities. 

 

How you'll make an impact 

 

  • Define and drive the portfolio growth strategy for OU SAS Europe. 
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, customer requirements, and industry trends. 
  • Align market demands with Global Product Group roadmaps and OU business objectives. 
  • Develop business cases to enter new markets, launch new offerings, and strengthen competitive positioning. 
  • Assess organizational readiness and identify gaps in competencies, resources, tools, processes, and delivery capabilities. 
  • Recommend and drive organizational changes required to support future market needs. 
  • Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and market responsiveness. 
  • Enable Country Sales and Tendering teams with value propositions, portfolio guidance, and go-to-market strategies. 
  • Establish governance and follow-up mechanisms to ensure strategic actions are implemented and deliver measurable business results. 
  • Act as the voice of the customer and market within the Operating Unit while representing the OU towards Global Product Groups and key customers. 

 

 

Your Responsibilities 

 

Market & Portfolio Leadership 

  • Monitor market developments, competitive activity, regulatory changes, and technology trends. 
  • Translate customer and market insights into strategic portfolio actions. 
  • Identify portfolio gaps and growth opportunities. 

 

Organizational Development 

  • Evaluate the Operating Unit's ability to meet future market demands. 
  • Define capability development plans and competency requirements. 
  • Drive standardization, digitalization, and process improvement initiatives. 

 

Business Growth 

  • Support strategic customer engagements and business development activities. 
  • Drive market-entry strategies and growth initiatives. 
  • Ensure alignment between opportunity pipeline, product strategy, and execution capability. 

 

Execution & Governance 

  • Lead implementation of strategic initiatives and organizational improvements. 
  • Monitor progress and ensure delivery of agreed actions. 
  • Report portfolio performance, capability readiness, and growth opportunities to OU leadership. 

 

Your background 


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline. 
  • Extensive experience within Substation Automation Systems, Power Transmission & Distribution, or related industries. 
  • Proven experience in portfolio management, product management, strategy, business development, or market management. 
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and technology roadmaps. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across a global organization. 
  • Excellent communication, business acumen, and leadership skills
