The opportunity  

The successful candidate will be part of an international Digital Engineering and Design team, supporting in create Business report using Power BI, SQL, SAP at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration. The role will leverage advanced analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and visualization tools to improve engineering productivity, resource planning, quality, performance management, and strategic execution.  

How you’ll make an impact  

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence 

  • Collect, cleanse, validate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise systems. 

  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI and related analytics tools. 

  • Identify trends, performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities. 

  • Support leadership through data-driven recommendations and performance insights. 

  • Establish automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. 

Engineering Performance Analytics 

  • Analyze engineering utilization, productivity, capacity, and workload data. 

  • Support workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and resource optimization. 

  • Develop KPI dashboards for engineering functions, managers, and leadership teams. 

  • Monitor project delivery performance and engineering execution metrics. 

Digitalization & Automation 

  • Support implementation of digital tools and analytics platforms. 

  • Develop automated workflows using Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).. 

  • Improve reporting efficiency through automation and standardization. 

Data Governance & Quality 

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems. 

  • Define data standards, reporting structures, and governance mechanisms. 

  • Maintain documentation of datasets, reports, and analytical models. 

  • Support continuous improvement through data validation and auditing. 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Partner with Engineering Managers, Team Leads, Finance, Operations, and Global Functions. 

  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions. 

  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams. 

  • Drive adoption of analytics-driven decision making across GECIN. 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Identify process inefficiencies using quantitative analysis. 

  • Develop predictive and trend-based analytical models to improve planning and execution. 

 

Your background  

  • B.E / B. Tech Mechanical/ Electrical/Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Science Engineering. 

  • 0 to 1 years of experience working in Experience in power, energy or infrastructure projects preferred 

  • Candidates with higher experience & Education also to be considered. 

  • Engineering data and visualization pipelines 

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) .
