Quality Control Manager

Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact.

We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will support project teams on quality matters throughout the project lifecycle; implement project quality plans and risk-based quality assurance; ensure project, supply, and site controls meet stakeholder requirements; analyze quality data and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure.

2. You will partner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues, define action ownership, assess risks, and deploy lessons learned across projects.

3. You will define and maintain quality activities, processes, standards, inspection methods, and controls for manufactured materials, components, and products.

4. You will ensure product and process quality throughout incoming inspection, manufacturing, testing, final inspection, and shipment activities, including the required systems, records, and controls.

5. You will manage incoming quality control activities, inspection planning, inspection and test documentation, quality records, and coordination of supplier-related quality issues.

6. You will monitor and audit manufacturing processes and outputs against internal, customer, regulatory, and applicable quality requirements.

7. You will lead non-conformance management, containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and effectiveness verification; report and troubleshoot manufacturing deviations and finished-goods defects.

8. You will monitor quality KPIs and drive improvement actions to reduce defects, improve process capability, and strengthen operational performance.

9. You will support quality readiness for production transfer and new or changed manufacturing processes, including quality planning, control plans, process risk reviews, and qualification activities.

10. You will maintain ISO management systems and support compliance and continuous improvement; prepare, review, issue, and periodically update quality documentation.

11. You will organize and support internal and external audits, including preparation, coordination, findings follow-up, corrective actions, and closure.

12. You will coordinate training on company process documents, support Adonis process management, prepare monthly quality reports, monitor quality KPIs, and maintain Power BI dashboards.

13. You will promote standardization, lessons learned, quality governance, and continuous improvement in cooperation with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Service, HSE, customers, suppliers, and corporate quality functions.

14.You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related discipline.

2. Typically 5 or more years of experience in project quality, manufacturing quality, quality assurance, or a comparable industrial quality role.

3. Experience in manufacturing quality control and quality management within mechanical manufacturing, high-voltage electrical equipment, power transmission, or related industrial sectors is preferred.

4. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management system requirements; familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an advantage.

5. Knowledge of relevant quality methods and tools such as APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, inspection and test planning, SPC, MSA, RCA, 8D, and CAPA.

6. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, procedures, inspection records, and customer quality requirements.

7. Ability to analyze quality data, identify trends and risks, and translate findings into practical improvement actions.

8. Experience coordinating audits, non-conformance resolution, cross-functional problem solving, and customer or supplier quality topics.

9. Competence with Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI, SAP quality processes, and process-management tools is an advantage.

10.Strong customer focus, ownership, structured problem solving, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

11.Ability to work effectively across functions and cultures and to coach others on quality methods and process requirements.
