July 1, 2021 marks the first anniversary of Hitachi ABB Power Grids.  2020 was a challenging year marked by historical events and unforeseen changes to work and home lives; it has also been a year of learning for all of us, both as a team and as individuals. During the initial stages of the pandemic, we as the leadership developed a strategic plan ensuring smooth business operations and delivering on our promise of excellence.  We are committed to bringing new innovative technology solutions that will best suit your requirements.  We also continue to drive our efforts in contributing to a more sustainable society.

Today we would like to take through our one-year journey, starting with a snapshot of our history, milestone projects, and our way forward towards our goal of Sustainability 2030.

We recently announced our strategy on Sustainability 2030, we are taking the next big step towards a sustainable energy future. Sustainability 2030 reinforces our commitment to all of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and in particular, we commit to making a significant contribution to the below eight SDGs. Affordable and clean energy; responsible consumption and production; clean water and sanitation; good health and well-being; quality education; gender equality; peace, justice, and strong institutions; and partnerships for the goals. Planet, People, Peace, and Partnerships are the four pillars of our Sustainability 2030 strategic plan. Each pillar aligns with one or more of the SDGs, and includes corresponding sustainability target(s). These are ambitious and are designed to guide, stretch and advance our whole business, as we strive towards a sustainable society.
