Product Line Quality Manager -DT

The Opportunity

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Product Line (PL) quality strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards. Oversee cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement initiatives, monitor quality performance, and enhance customer satisfaction. Guide quality management processes, compliance, and risk mitigation to foster a culture of quality excellence across the organization.

How you will make an impact

  • Define and implement the HUB PL specific quality strategy and monitor its effectiveness.

  • Ensure that QA and QC resources are available, and that staff are trained and competent.

  • Analyze customer feedback to understand needs and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct assessments to identify areas for improvement in product and process quality.

  • Promote awareness of compliance obligations and support factories in meeting quality standards.

  • Drive the resolution of quality issues using root cause analysis and ensure systematic follow-up.

  • Ensure detailed investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive actions for PL test failures and customer-impacting quality issues.

  • Oversee status of test failure RCA’s and CCRPs to ensure timely acknowledgement, analysis, reporting and closure.

  • Drive resolution of quality process-related findings identified during Critical Process Review (CPR) global audits.

  • Collaborate with GPG Quality Manager regarding execution of global initiatives, status of problem resolution, and strategies for improvement.

  • Monitor and report quality performance, analyze KPIs, and take corrective actions for relevant quality performance KPIs, issues, and initiatives.

  • Communicate quality performance insights and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Manage, mentor and develop Quality Managers and quality staff in factories.

Your background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • 15 years of extensive experience in Transformer business in engineering, operations, Service or Quality function in a managerial role

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Proven leadership ability to influence and mentor cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and fostering a culture of quality excellence across the organization.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels and foster a culture of quality excellence across the organization.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
