The opportunity 

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you will make an impact     

1. You will ensure all testing operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ISO standards also prioritize workplace safety by implementing best practices and fostering a culture of safety among team members.     

2. You will collaborate with customers and project teams to define and plan testing requirements executively also oversee and execute comprehensive test procedures to ensure products meet specifications and international standards.

3. You will ensure test equipment is used correctly, maintained, and calibrated by authorized personnel also contribute to failure analyses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that improve product reliability.

4. You will support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing testing processes and performance metrics to enhance eScience and quality.

5. You will provide guidance and training to team members on testing protocols and best practices, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background  
1. You hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a testing or quality control role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of testing protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ISO 9001, ISO 45001). 

3. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to evaluate test results and performance metrics. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough failure analyses and implement corrective actions. 

4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training and guidance.
