Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist

The opportunity 

Join our Quality team in Ludvika and help us deliver products and solutions we can truly stand behind. As a Senior Quality Specialist, you’ll be a key partner to engineering, production and suppliers—driving a strong quality culture, turning data into actions, and ensuring robust processes from incoming material to final delivery. You’ll take ownership of investigations and improvements, influence cross-functional decisions, and see the impact of your work in customer satisfaction, safety, compliance and business performance. You will be part of the Production Quality team who are responsible för Incoming and Operational Quality consisting of seven quality specialists and four quality technicians. You’ll be reporting to the Production Quality Manager. 
  

How you’ll make an impact 

  • Drive a proactive quality culture by coaching cross-functional teams and promoting fact-based decision making. 

  • Lead problem solving and investigations (e.g., NCRs, deviations, complaints) using structured methods and ensure effective corrective/preventive actions. 

  • Ensure robust quality controls from incoming material to final delivery through risk assessments, control plans, and inspection strategies. 

  • Partner with engineering and production to define requirements, qualify process changes, and secure product and process compliance. 

  • Manage supplier quality queries and investigations, including issue resolution and support in continuous improvement with key suppliers. 

  • Use quality data and KPIs to identify trends, prioritize improvement initiatives, and report status to stakeholders and management. 
      

Your background 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. 

  • Several years of experience in quality within manufacturing/industrial environments, including production and/or supplier quality, with a collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder management. 

  • Strong competence in problem solving and root-cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) and driving effective CAPA, with a proactive and resilient approach. 

  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and experience with audits and compliance requirements, with a structured and thorough way of working. 

  • Ability to analyze quality data/KPIs and use structured methods (FMEA, control plans) to prioritize and deliver improvements, with ownership and attention to detail. 

  • Clear communicator who can influence cross-functionally, open to feedback and continuous improvement, with a hands-on and structured mindset; fluent in English.
