Engineering Manager for the Structural Dynamics and Acoustic Team

The opportunity 

We are looking for an engaged and people‑focused Engineering Manager to lead our growing Structural Dynamics and Acoustics team. The team plays a key role across all phases of HVDC project delivery, providing expert support to projects and other business units. As the organization continues to expand, you will help shape future ways of working while developing both people and capabilities in a technically advanced and collaborative environment.

This position is based in Ludvika or Västerås, Sweden. The team is however distributed in different geographical locations in Sweden. 
 

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers within structural dynamics and acoustics.  
  • Enable the energy transition by contributing to large‑scale HVDC transmission projects.  
  • Create a collaborative team culture with a strong focus on learning and continuous improvement.  
  • Act as a key interface towards projects and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and prioritization.  
  • Drive improvements in processes, working methods, and capability development aligned with business strategy.  
  • Set clear goals and provide direction for the team’s long‑term development. 

Your background

  • University degree in engineering, or equivalent experience.  
  • Proven experience leading or managing engineers in a technical environment.  
  • Experience working with stakeholders in complex projects or organizations.  
  • Background in structural dynamics, acoustics, or closely related disciplines is a strong advantage.  
  • Comfortable leading distributed teams.  
  • Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage.
