IT Technical Project Manager

The opportunity

This role leads the execution of medium, large, and enterprise IT projects in a global environment.
All project activities are delivered in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, HSE requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments.

The position provides central expertise, governance, and control across technical projects and programs.
It supports the development and application of project management standards, best practices, and templates, while enabling project teams through structured guidance.

The role oversees dependencies across multiple interrelated technical initiatives.
It consolidates project status, progress, and financial information, ensuring transparency and effective leadership reporting.

Strong business focus is applied to planning, organizing, and controlling resources, processes, and schedules.
Responsibilities include building project teams, defining responsibilities, developing project plans, and monitoring delivery performance.

The scope may include managing multiple interrelated projects, including business transformation initiatives.
Vendor activities may be integrated into project plans, with responsibility for tracking and reviewing deliverables.

  • Support technology planning and IT implementation

Your background

  • 5+ years of experience managing large IT projects in global environments
  • End‑to‑end project and program delivery across multiple geographies
  • Strong stakeholder management across business and technology functions
  • Experience with organizational change in complex enterprise landscapes
  • Financial management of IT projects using SAP purchasing and budget control
  • Hands‑on use of ServiceNow SPPM, Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint, applying ITIL 4, Lean Six Sigma, and PMP / Agile / Scrum methodologies
