Mechanical Design Assistant Intern

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will understand the current product structure design of classic valve, be familiar with the installation procedures, be responsible for simplifying the existing product's three-dimensional model, and generate installation procedure animation demonstrations in the existing software based on customer requirements.

2. You will understand the product structure design in NX software and familiarize with the installation steps by referring to the installation guidance documents.

3. You will simplify the necessary three-dimensional models of components.

4. You will create an animation demonstration of the product installation steps in NX software based on the actual installation procedures.

5. Maintain communication with the service team to understand the requirements of on-site customers for the digital platform.

6. Based on customer needs, you will provide improvement requirements for the existing digital platform to the existing suppliers during the internship period.

7. You will maintain technical communication with suppliers and track progress to ensure the timely delivery of the digital platform.

8. You will handle other duties as assigned.

9. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. Bachelor or above, majoring in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or Mechatronics, etc.

2. Proficient in using at least one mainstream 3D CAD software (such as SolidWorks, Creo/Pro-E, NX, CATIA)

3. Have a rigorous logical thinking ability, be patient and meticulous when entering data and verifying models, and have a strong awareness of document standardization

4. Have a strong interest in cutting-edge technologies such as Industry 4.0, Digital Twin, and 3D scanning, and possess the ability to quickly learn new software/tools

5. Length of internship: Can guarantee at least a 3–6-month internship period
