The StarLiquid program develops, maintains, and implements global electrical design standards for liquid-filled distribution transformers. The role supports transformer electrical design, technical-standard development, design optimization, change-request resolution, engineering-system implementation, and StarLiquid deployment across global factories.

*Remote based position for Dudullu-DT factory.

How you will make an impact:

• Develop and maintain StarLiquid electrical technical standards.
• Perform and review transformer electrical designs and calculations. Evaluate factory designs for cost, material, and performance optimization.
• Review change requests and develop technically validated solutions.
• Support implementation and testing in CDS (common design system for transformer product design), electrical and related engineering systems and Ensure compliance with StarLiquid requirements and applicable international industry standards like IEC, IEEE, GB, CSA and others.
• Support global factories with StarLiquid implementation and technical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide training and engineering support.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, R&D, manufacturing, quality, and software teams.
• Serve as a recognized subject matter expert, providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and guiding the resolution of complex engineering challenges. No people management.
• Drive engineering excellence through coaching, knowledge sharing, and the continuous improvement of global transformer design standards and best practices.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.  

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s and preferably master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 10+ years or higher experience in the electrical design of liquid-filled distribution or power transformers.
• Knowledge of winding design, losses, impedance, dielectric clearances, insulation coordination, temperature rise, and short-circuit performance.
• Knowledge of applicable international industry standards like IEC, IEEE, GB, CSA and others transformer standards.
• Experience with transformer design software and electrical calculation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and support the development of other engineers.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Willing to travel (about 10-20% in year).
