Facility Manager 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of all maintenance activities, ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, and well-maintained. You will also play a key role in space planning and optimization across departments. Join our team!


How you’ll make an impact

  • Plan and execute all maintenance activities in alignment with budget cycles, understand and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers

  • Coordinate with suppliers and Supply Chain Management (SCM) to define technical specifications and request proposals

  • Ensure the facility remains tidy, safe, and compliant through regular inspections and cleaning rounds, collaborate with HSE for safety walks and define interfaces with HSE protocols

  • Maintain cost awareness and control related to maintenance activities, benchmark costs and request multiple proposals to ensure cost-effective solutions

  • Understand supplier capabilities and foster strong working relationships, implement cost reduction strategies that focus on efficiency and smart solutions—not just budget cuts, monitor running costs, track invoices, and ensure financial transparency

  • Act as the primary interface to FM providers (cleaning, maintenance, security, etc.) to ensure service quality and alignment with organizational goals

  • Understand space requirements per BU and department

  • Develop and maintain handbooks and guidelines for reception, mail services, housekeeping, and related topics


Your background

  • Strong technical understanding of building systems and infrastructure

  • Several years of experience in facility management, maintenance planning, or a related field, several years of experience in leading teams

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Cost-conscious with a strategic mindset for efficiency

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and floor plans

  • English and German language is mandatory
