The opportunity

As a Real Estate Facility Manager with us, you are responsible for managing both leased and owned premises and maintain daily contact with the operations that take place in these facilities. You have budget responsibility and ensure that maintenance plans are developed and implemented. You act as a requirements setter in construction projects and coordinate property-related matters. You collaborate with business units and support functions, taking overall responsibility for understanding current and future needs.
 

How you’ll make an impact

  • Budget responsibility and follow-up for the different sites

  • Act as the primary contact between Hitachi and property owners as well as their subcontractors

  • Place orders for assignments in collaboration with both internal and external colleagues

  • Plan and monitor both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as various construction projects

  • Ensure compliance with applicable directives, regulatory requirements, and laws

  • Financial follow-up and evaluation of signed agreements

  • Operational and personnel responsibility for the daily activities within the property management unit

Your background

  • Relevant education and extensive experience in property management for commercial and industrial facilities

  • Minimum 10 years in similar roles, including personnel responsibility

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills; proven ability to manage projects and maintenance budgets

  • Expertise in project management, reporting, and developing maintenance plans

  • Solid knowledge of tenancy and contract law, as well as regulatory compliance

  • Structured and detail-oriented approach with excellent documentation skills

  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written; driver’s license required
